EXPERIENCE
- Member of Peregrine Press, a print co-operative in Portland Maine since 2004.
- Over 20 years working in publishing and graphic design.
- Printmaking Teacher of 3 day Gelli Printmaking workshop: Opportunities for Spontaneity, Play and Imagination. Kopavogur Art Association, Iceland Sept 2019.
Professional artists with little or no printmaking experience made their own permanent gelatin plates while learning a variety of printing techniques. Incorporating their own drawing and painting skills into the process of mark making, students looked at pattern, texture, value, color and layering as a means of developing more complex imagery. Working beyond their comfort zone students opened up a visual dialogue challenging the boundaries of their regular studio practice.
- Spiral Arts, Portland, ME 2002 - 2011. Watercolor teacher: A community arts program for all people of all ages, Spiral Arts offered opportunities for transformation through spirituality, art and learning.
- Creative Trails/Support Solutions, Portland, ME 2010 - 2011. Guest artist: Printmaking workshop with young adults with developmental issues.
- Brown Elementary School, South Portland, ME 2006. Co-artist / facilitator: Book Art/Literacy/Printmaking after school program with ESL students grades 2-5.
